Red Sky

“Red Sky at night, sailors’ delight, red sky in morning, sailors’ take warning.” This evening of movements from beloved string quartets begins with the storm of Beethoven’s Serioso Quartet, finds its way to calmer waters with the tranquillity of Caroline Shaw’s “Orangery”, and then heads back into the tempest of Mendelssohn’s String Quartet Op. 80. Featuring Emma Richman, Roseminna Watson, Sophie Heaton, and Clara Abel.
