We’ve found that the best way to get the word out about our exceptional concerts is to encourage our audience members to bring friends to concerts. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with an old friend, and enjoy a nice dinner followed by a sparkling concert!
Become a Friend of MSCM and bring a friend to one Barn concert for free!
Get a chance to meet a few of our amazing artists, while helping MSCM keep operational costs down by volunteering to drive a pick-up or drop-off trip to Logan Airport or South Station. Most musicians will be arriving on a Monday and and leaving on a Sunday so we have both weekend and weekday times available.
Donating rehearsal space is a great opportunity to enjoy some free music in your house and get a behind-the-scenes peek into what goes into the creative process of MSCM concerts. You’ll get the chance to listen to how musicians collaborate and experience how we explore the nuances of classical music. If you have a room in your house that would be big enough to fit around 4-5 people and you would enjoy having the sounds of classical chamber music flow through your home, then we would love to talk to you.

Best way to become a FRIEND2019, now that ticketing has opened, is to join when you buy tickets. You will then receive the reduced price.
You may also join using this form, but you will have a delay of up to 48 hours to be able to buy tickets at the reduced price.
Hosting a dinner for our musicians is great way to becoming more involved with MSCM. The meal you provide could take place at your convenience in August. It would be a great chance to meet the remarkable personalities behind the music while helping us in our ongoing mission of connecting audiences and performers. If you own a local restaurant, talk to us about contributing an in-kind donation of a meal for our musicians.
Our days are packed with back to back rehearsals, but we do need to eat lunch! If you are interested in providing a hearty lunch to keep us energized through afternoon rehearsals, we’d love to talk to you! Lunches are by necessity a much shorter affair than dinners…
Love to cook but short on time or desire to socialize? Pack us a lunch or dinner and we will happily enjoy the fruits of your labor in a park or at our concert venue (sometimes it’s tricky to get all our musicians feed right before a concert, so picnic dinners can be the perfect solution).

Bed and breakfast
When: We ask for a commitment of 5-7 days for hosting; if you are comfortable with hosting for longer, please let us know. We are currently looking for hosts for the time between August 9th and August 30th. 2020.
Who would I be hosting?: All of our MSCM artists are courteous, responsible and mature adults who will not require anything of you other than a place to sleep and the use of the kitchen for breakfast. We will take care of transportation to and from rehearsals, etc., as well as lunch and dinner. Our talented artists come from all different parts of the country and are truly extraordinary individuals. We are confident that both host and musician will be rewarded by the opportunity to get to know one another.
Will the guest be loud?: Our artists will need to practice during their stay and if you have never had a professional musician play in your house, you will be in for a treat. There is something extremely special about listening in on spectacular music being casually explored by a fantastic musician in your own house. If this might be too disruptive to your home, however, it is possible to host a musician and let us make arrangements that they practice elsewhere.
If you’re thinking about getting involved but concerned the what it will require of you, take it from one of our wonderful supporters who has been hosting these past two years: They are so self sufficient it is really just getting them a quiet, comfortable room to lay down their heads in the evening!
