Musicians Reflect on the Pandemic

As we approach a second August with no MSCM on the horizon, we wanted to find another way to connect with our audience and our musicians– all of whom we are very much missing. We asked a number of our musicians to share how their lives and careers have been affected by the pandemic and reflections on how it has or has not changed their approach to and feelings about live performance.

Speaking of changing approaches to live performance, we are so glad that many arts organizations have found ways to operate this year, even amongst such uncertainty. While we wish we could be among that number and be making music on the North Shore again, the extremely small size of our organization does not leave room for the continued vagaries and sudden changes of our current situation. We very much hope that the next time we have anything to share with you, it will be news of our 2022 season! In the meantime, we hope you enjoy reading the musician musings and we wish you a healthy, happy rest of the summer.
