On three consecutive nights, starting on August 12th, Ryo Yanagitani will lead a narrative performance centering on Paul Schoenfield’s delightful Café Music. Café Music is a captivating piece that combines lush romanticism with klezmer, Broadway, and other traditions of musical virtuosity. Showcasing a few of these strains of virtuosity, Ryo, along with Keiko Tokunaga and Ying-Jun Wei will round out the program with works by Chopin, Saint-Saens, and Gershwin.
