The Olympics begin with the torch relay, MSCM kicks off with the first ceremonial ice cream. Follow that up with some baby Elliott (Sage’s son) cuddles and post-rehearsal evening beach, and you’ve got a MSCM August.

Some of our best times at MSCM are spent with our wonderful hosts of all ages. Thank you for loaning us your fence, taking us for seaside cocktails, cooking us scrumptious food, and so much more.

We love your pets! Musicians are often itinerant which makes owning a pet challenging, so it’s all the more special for us to spend time with yours!

Pre and post concert rituals: stage make-up with friends, group celebratory photo, and pile into the clown car– yes, that is 4 people, 3 violins, and a cello in a VW Bug (thank you Tom!)

A special note of remembrance for Johnny Veeder, staunch friend of MSCM, who passed away in early 2020. We will miss your warmth, laughter, and support. (And your deep empathy for Lorna’s fear of mosquitos and your compassionately lending her your bug zapping tennis racket.)
