
Eliot Heaton is the current Concertmaster of the Michigan Opera Theatre orchestra. During the past year he has appeared as a soloist throughout the state of Michigan as well as making guest Concertmaster appearances with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic and Disney’s The Lion King. He previously served as the Concertmaster of the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. Eliot earned degrees in History and Violin Performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory, and went on to a Master of Music degree at Indiana University. He studied primarily with Marilyn McDonald and Kevork Mardirossian, and completed a minor in Jazz Studies while at Indiana University. Eliot also has performed at the Geneva Music Festival, Kneisel Hall, and the Anchorage Chamber Music Festival in recent seasons, and he is very excited to return to Manchester for the fifth time.
